Buffet Style Food Service
If you plan to have a buffet style dinner for your wedding reception, please keep in mind, that each buffet station requires a minimum of two servers for the first thirty (30) guests to set up, refill and break down of buffet stations. If your having a large gathering, you will be needing runners to ensure that the dishes at the buffet stations are properly stocked. Two additional wait staff workers are required for every 160 guests. More staff may be needed depending on the needs of your buffet. We can help you figure out how many staff members you need to create the perfect event.
Other Examples:
1. If your buffet contains chafing dishes and you want your guests to be served. A minimum of one server is needed for every three chafing dishes manned.
2. For seated a dinner service with china and glassware one server per table is required. One server is needed for every 2 tables when using plastic ware.
3. If your event requires six or more staff members, a captain is required to manage them. Large events will require managerial supervision during the event..

Seated Dinner Service
For the guests sitting down and having dinner, you will need a minimum of one server per 8-12 seat table top.
If your serving wine, water and or juices to your guests, additional wait staff will be required.
If hiring more than four catering staff members, a captain will be needed.
Wedding Bartender Service
A minimum of one bartender is required for every 50 to 70 guests.
Additional bartenders and barbacks may be needed for
– events in excess of 100 guests
– to serve mixed, blended or special drinks
– for high volume of guests in a short period of time.
To keep the bar stocked efectively, hire barbacks to assist the bartenders
